The work is inspired by ‘nictonasty’, a natural phenomenon in which certain species of plants and flowers close during the night for self-defence and conservation, reopening at dawn. Visitors are invited to reflect on their relationship with the environment, while different disciplines dialogue in a poetic way thanks to the collaboration with scientists, programmers and artists.<\/p>\n
Bloodchild. Inspired by Octavia L. Butler’s short story, the exhibition invites us to reflect on the current challenges and the need to reconsider this interaction in a balanced way. The ‘child of blood’ represents both the future of humanity and the present, highlighting the importance of managing the link between humans and technology to ensure our existence.<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lab.the-bunker.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Bloodchild.-Scenes-from-a-Symbiosis-2024-installation-view-Verona-Ph.-Nicola-Morittu.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"766\" height=\"731\" \/>
Bloodchild.
